We are an independent carnival club from
the Hegau and we maintain the Alemannic carnival traditions.
Since January 20, 2019, we have officially been a member of
the Narrenzunft Engen eV as an independent fool group !
Why does the Hohenhewenteufel exist?
Because we think that this figure fits wonderfully into the Hegau with all
its great mountains and volcanoes.
In addition, all members are from the Hegau and are also based in this
region.
Hohenhewen borders Anselfingen, Welschingen, Neuhausen and
Engen. So what's the argument against using "our" local mountain as a
landmark?
There is also a legend that the forest at the eastern foot of the
Hohenhewen was not a particularly safe area. Many who even set out to explore
it were afraid as soon as they entered and did not
return.
