Component inputs are practical since they're the only link to officially (and without
the need of trickery) take 240p, 480i and 480p indicators.
Anyway, the XRGB-2 (and 2plus) does not accept 480p.
The XRGB-3 can acknowledge 480p on it is
part inputs and on the JP21 RGB enter working with element format.
480p processing just isn't critical, if you want to use your
common gaming devices, but it is handy if you have a process
that can output some of it can be video games in 480p - the
key illustration for that would be a Playstation 2.
On the other hand, JP21 RGB connections you should not officially assistance 480p,
which is why you normally get part or VGA for 480p alerts.
For several many years VGA connections have been the common for linedoubled or upscaled illustrations
or photos. Some greater close sets (specially these with resolutions larger than 1200p) never appear with VGA connections any
for a longer period, but your typical gaming Lcd will - for now - however have VGA connections.
Unfortunately most makers see VGA as an out of date relationship and eliminated it from their Tv
sets. Most TVs up to all around 2011 did have a VGA inputs to feed them progressive analogue alerts.
