According to the Nationwide Coalition for Homeless Veterans, the bill would fund applications within the Department of Veterans Affairs designed to fight homelessness among veterans at the highest
degree in historical past. Sec. 216) Authorizes the
Secretary of Veterans Affairs (Secretary, for functions of this
title) to enter into agreements with certain Indian tribes and tribal
organizations in rural Alaska to offer well being care, including behavioral health and dental care.
Title III: Related Companies would acceptable funds for: (1) the American Battle
Monuments Commission, (2) the United States Courtroom
of Appeals for Veterans Claims, (3) cemeterial expenses, and (4) the Armed Forces Retirement House.
Finally, Title IV: Basic Provisions would specify restrictions and authorities relating
to the usage of funds appropriated in this Act. Further land use is now tightly restricted by the Oak Ridges
Moraine Conservation Act. Sec. 418) Prohibits the relevant
allocation of new price range authority beneath this Act
from exceeding the amount of proposed new funds authority.
Sec. 229) Requires the Secretary to submit a
reprogramming request to the appropriations committees
if, at any time during FY2014, the funding allotted for a medical care initiative recognized within the
FY2014 expenditure plan is adjusted by greater than $25 million from the allocation shown in the corresponding finances justification.
